Online Therapy

Virtual therapy in Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, Austin, Houston, or anywhere in Texas

Experience therapy that fits into your life.

Quality Care

Research shows that the therapeutic relationship is at least as vital to a positive outcome as using the right treatment method. Instead of settling for a therapist because they are conveniently located, you can find a therapist who specializes in your needs and is the right fit for you. Through virtual therapy, you can see any therapist licensed within the state of Texas.

Cost

Reduce late-cancel or missed-appointment fees due to common issues like forgetting the appointment, running late, childcare issues, traffic, & illness. The ability to log into your session from whoever you are reduces the risk of incurring missed-session fees. Therapists generally charge the full session fee due to a 24 to 48-hour late cancellation policy and 15 minute maximum wait time.

Furthermore, lower overhead for the therapist, such as transportation costs and office rent, translates to lower fees for the client.

Convenience

Clients can report from their home, their office, or step out the office and log in from their car for a lunch break without a huge disruption in their daily schedule.

Comfort

Just grab your favorite beverage and perhaps a blanket or a furry friend and log in!

Tips for making the most out of virtual therapy:

Location: Choose a private, comfortable spot. Many clients check-in from their office, bedroom, living room, or car.

Technology: Make sure your device is charged and you have a strong wifi or phone signal. Grab your headphones if you like.

Relax: Get comfortable and oriented in your space. Grab your pet for extra support, have a refreshment, take a few slow, deep breaths to center yourself.

Reflect: Try to spend a few minutes reflecting on what you would like to achieve in the session. It can be helpful to write down some questions or reflections you want to remember to discuss.

Create a calm environment: Therapists often try to make their office space calm and conducive to therapy. If you can, try to create a calm, soothing environment free of distractions. You could draw the shades, dim the lights, light incense or a candle, turn on a sound machine, or play instrumental music. This type of environment can help us feel more relaxed and more able to focus inward.

Transition: After your online therapy session, it would be beneficial to do some journaling or take a walk to give your mind time to process material from your session and transition back into your day. Most of the change from therapy happens in the time between therapy sessions, so try not to skip this one if you can help it.
